It is with great pleasure and honor that we invite you to the ESPR Paediatric Emergency Ultrasound Course, which will take place from April 24 to 26, 2025, in Baltic Beach Hotel, Jūrmala, Latvia..

This three-day course is designed to provide essential insights into ultrasonographic diagnosis of emergency pathologies in pediatrics. Each day will focus on a specific area of interest:

  • Day 1: Pediatric lung ultrasonography
  • Day 2: Neonatal ultrasonography
  • Day 3: Ultrasound applications for various pediatric emergencies encountered in the Emergency Department

The course is tailored for pediatric radiologists, radiologists interested in pediatric imaging and radiology residents. The covered topics may also be of interest and value to neonatologists and pediatricians keen to expand their knowledge of ultrasound imaging.

The course venue Baltic Beach Hotel located in a breathtaking setting right on the shores of the Baltic Sea, will host the course. Jūrmala, Latvia’s premier seaside resort town, is renowned for its white sandy beaches, lush pine forests, and charming wooden architecture that reflects the town’s rich cultural heritage. Just a 25-minute drive from the capital, Riga, Jūrmala provides an excellent blend of natural beauty and modern amenities. Participants will have the opportunity to explore the town’s unique attractions, including the Jomas Street promenade, the Dzintari Concert Hall, and a variety of spa and wellness centers, all of which contribute to Jūrmala’s reputation as a destination for relaxation and rejuvenation.
